Aidan Smagh '21 Recruiting Profile

I’ve grown up in a military family and lived in 6 different states in 17 years. That experience has allowed me to build resiliency and perseverance at each new school and team I joined.  It has also taught me that I can consistently compete, excel, and produce results that help my team win. 

Most recently, I produced as a freshman and sophomore by state qualifying in high jump for both indoor and outdoor track and field. Working as both Jumping Captain and the coach for the other high jumpers had instilled a positive work ethic. But my best achievement is my GPA.

My parents have instilled in me a strong work ethic, and I know that before I succeed on the track, I must take care of business in the classroom.  I am pursuing a college that combines a great education with a competitive track and field program.
