Kian Dougherty '20 Recruiting Profile

I am an achiever. A hard worker. I work my hardest so that I can be my best.

I was born with the fighting spirit, and a natural talent in hurdles. My freshmen year I went all the way to districts, which is very unlikely for freshmen, I also broke the freshmen record in the 300M hurdles and received rookie of the year for all the hard work I put into my season. I know the from sophomore to senior year, I will compete at state, and by my senior year my goal is to break the 300M hurdles school record (Kolby Hoover 38.24). Not only am I a three sport athlete, I also take many AP classes and average a 3.8 GPA, which means I not only work hard in sports, but I also focus on my schooling as well. That is what it means to be a student athlete.

My dreams are to become a collegiate level track and field athlete, because track and field is the best sport in the world and I love it.
