Garret Bernt '21 Recruiting Profile

I believe I am a athlete that deserves to be on your team because I am 100 percent dedicated into getting better and becoming a better athlete for the events I do in track, and I put in the extra work necessary to succeed and build the top athlete I am becoming. I am also am on top of my stuff, my grades are high, I have a high GPA and I work hard in class just as much as I do on the field and my events.

 Things that I believe that makes me different from other recruits is that I am a leader, I am self motivated, I am confident and strong in the mind, and I will put in the work and extra work that is necessary to achieve my goals and what needs to be done.

My athletics and academics currently are that I am a 3 sport athlete and I maintain a high GPA over those seasons and over the school year. In Football we were undefeated Trico league champs, I am on varsity starting for my team. Then for Basketball we went into districts to the 2nd round and also will be on the varsity team when I become a junior. Then in Track I currently is in a track club and in my high school I made it to districts freshman year for shot and discus, then this year sophomore year I won sub districts in discus, in districts placed 3rd in discus, and is going to state for discus. then for my grades I am holding a high GPA around 3.9 and is on track to graduating, and going to take college classes for college credits.
