Jaden Reed '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaden Reed, I am currently a Freshman in high school with hopes of going to a Division 1 college as a Cross Country runner or Track athlete. I do play one other sport being basketball but I'm not tall enough to go anywhere for that so I defaulted to my other two sports, Track and XC. My personal best time for a 5K is 17:13, on Oct. 10 at our Conference Championships this past fall. I took 7th place at the Sectional race a week later, one person qualified for the state meet as a team then putting me in 6th. I missed the state meet as a runner by 6 seconds. Next year though about 3 runners ahead of me at last years sectional meet will not be running due to graduating or moving up one division. I am going to be training all summer preparing and bettering my self to hopefully make the state meet next year. Achieving my goal to make it to state for something in high school and to be looked at by colleges for the next level.
