My name is Max Adams, and few things in life are as essential to me as running. My desire to continue my running journey in college, whether through a walk-on position or as a recruited athlete, is unwavering. Over my 3 years in high school, I've dedicated myself to refining my skills as a long-distance runner. As I approach my senior year, I am determined to carry this growth forward. My primary objective for my final year at Colby High School is to lower my 5k personal record from 17:10 to a challenging 16:00. While I recognize this goal is ambitious, I am confident in my ability to achieve it. When it comes to dedication and hard work, I believe in myself as a contender.
Beyond my passion for running, my commitment to academics is equally steadfast. I have consistently taken on a demanding course load, pushing myself to the limits of academic excellence. Whilst doing this, I have maintained a 4.18 weighted GPA, a 3.83 unweighted GPA, and a 4.0 Core GPA. These achievements reflect my unyielding dedication to both my athletic pursuits and my studies.
If there's one thing I want you to remember about me, it's this: I won't rest until I've earned the respect and recognition of your entire coaching staff through my unwavering commitment to both my athletic and academic endeavors.
