As I compete in one of the strangest sports, there is no way to fully explain the thrill of pole vaulting and what drives me to get better and keep going at it as I do. My goal as a pole vaulter is to make it to the Olympics like anyone else's. The thrill of everyone watching you is an amazing boost of serotonin and is like no other and my goal is to grow the sport because it is simply amazing. I think I am a good candidate for any team because I am easy to get along with and have no problems with anybody. I work with my fellow pole vaulters twice a week and we have grown very close, I love teams and being with people who love the same thing that I do. In my opinion, everything is cliché when it comes to your differences with other recruits. Every recruit is different in their own way and rather than explaining the difference I will explain what I bring to the table. I am driven confidently more than anyone else, I have vaulted on a stress fracture for 3 months because I simply do not want to stop doing it, I have changed my work schedule to vault, I would simply do anything to vault every day. It is fun, active, and overall a good time. While I am like that in pole vaulting I also show those characteristics in academics where I am driven up the wall to make sure my grades are good and to make sure that I am doing good in school. Finally, the note on my character, I believe that anyone you ask will say I'm a character, I am extremely active and jumpy and I love being social. My social confidence is through the roof for the better or worse and I can not back down from a good conversation.
