I've grown up in a small town all of my life. Track and Field wasn't a thing in elementary or middle school. Track became a sport (not a club) in my freshman year. Everyone from my school and other schools (we are combined) wanted me to play baseball. Well I'm glad I did not because I am now one of the greatest sprinters in our conference and region. I may not have the best times but I always finish well. There is no doubt in my mind if I had the right equipment and competition I would have better times. In fact we our entire county does not have a track to run on so just having one would unimaginably help. I'm not going to lie I barley worked in practice last year (the seniors were really distracting) but that should made my success that much more impressive. I changed my profile on NCSA to Track because I realized I love Track more than I love football. This year I am more motivated than ever to make it to state and that is not even my end goal.
