I would also love to be given the opportunity to compete in track and field at a collegiate level. Track and field is my favorite season of all my sports, and I spend my entire school year waiting for season to come. It was really hard to miss my sophomore year, but my junior year turned out great. Junior year, I was WIAA Division II state champion, and I competed in both AAU Nationals (5th) and USATF Nationals (6th). As of right now, my personal best in high jump is 6'8", but I was so close to 6'10" (please see video). I believe I still have the potential to grow as not only a high jumper but in other jumping events as well. I love to be coached and love to challenge myself. I also like to challenge myself when it comes to academics, specifically math and science. In the future, I want to become an aerospace engineer and continue growing my knowledge in engineering and problem solving.
