Elias Richardson '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elias Richardson. I am a 200m and 400m runner. I am currently a junior and I attend Madison East High School in Madison, Wisconsin. 

Track has always been a passion of mine, my older brother did it (he was a high jumper,) and when I went to his meets, I loved the competitiveness of track. I joined my freshmen year, and I was placed in the 400m. I ran a good first race and fell in love with the event. I also enjoy the 200, but my main event is the 400. 

One aspect of track that I would like to improve on is the actual technique of running. I think your coaching will help me take my technique to the next level and also help my times go down. 

I’m looking to pursue a career in sports management and or statistics. I have chosen this major to merge my love of sports and my love of mathematics.
