Hi, my name is Max Loetscher and I am a student at Madison East High School. I have run varsity cross country for three years and track for one year. I am very dedicated to the sport and am always willing to go out and put in the work necessary for me to improve and succeed.
Especially in my junior cross country season I have began to see my dedication and hard work pay off in my running. I received first team All City honors, second team All Conference honors, second team All Area honors and All State honorable mention, improving my 5k PR by almost a minute to 15:59. I love the sport and my goal is to continue to improve so that I can compete and succeed in a collegiate track and cross country program.
Academics and pushing myself in the classroom as well as athletics is very important to me as well. I have worked hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA and currently have earned a 35 on my ACT. I have also taken numerous classes at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I would like to be a part of a collegiate program that can challenge me in and outside the classroom.
