I started running track in the 5th grade and had no idea what to expect. After running a 5:40 mile as my first ever competitive mile time, I realized how much I loved the competition and the feel of running. Since that year, I have ran track every year, but didn't start running cross country until my sophomore year because I also played volleyball.
I am a very committed, coach-able, and goal oriented runner. When I put my mind to something, I won't stop until I have achieved it. I love competition and want to compete against the best of the best, and prove that I can run with them. I am always looking for advice to make me faster, and I will do what ever I can to help the team not just myself. I always have the back of my team, and I want the best for them, and I will do anything I can to make their goals happen. My main goal in running isn't to be a great high school runner, it is to be a great college runner. I don't want to be another person on the team, because I want to make an impact.
I push my self in everything, especially in school. I have maintained a cumulative GPA of a 4.07, and after two semester of taking an honors class and 3 AP classes, I finished both with a GPA of about a 4.3. I have great time management skills, where I am able to get multiple workouts and/or practices in a day and stay on top of my schoolwork. In everything I do, I give 100% effort, and I will take that to the next level, wherever that may be.
