I have done cross country as well as track & field from freshman year to the present. I do what my coaches expect of me and always strive to be a better athlete and student. Freshman year, my grades, in addition to my (JV) track performances were lackluster. Sophomore year, I tackled my schoolwork without a problem, and my (V) track times improved by seconds. Junior year, I was training two times a day every weekday leading up to the track season and was finally gonna show what I’ve been working for all these years. Though COVID-19 took my track season, it also helped me learn more about myself in exchange. This upcoming season will genuinely be a special one for me. Moreover, I'll only be satisfied once I’ve left everything out on the track, so stay tuned.
