Hi, I’m a 14-year-old setter with a Brazilian volleyball background and passionate about the game. I love figuring out plays, improving my sets, and even working on my spikes when I get the chance. I’m also pretty tall for my age, and recently I’ve been training as an outside hitter to help my team (14 playing U18 ) however I can. Lately, I’ve also started playing beach volleyball, and it’s been awesome pushing myself to get better on the sand.
In the southern part of Alabama, volleyball still faces challenges like prejudice, lack of education, about the sport and limited support from schools, which are often led by former football players. This creates barriers for our beloved game. Because of this, I’m part of a group of boys, parents, and our small club working hard to participate in as many local and national events as possible. We’re on a mission to re-educate people in our county and gain support to create the first boy's high school volleyball team in southern Alabama.
I’m looking for a college program that values teamwork, honesty, and hard work—where I can grow as a player and a person. I’m excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and passion to the court, help the team succeed, and represent the sport I love. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!
