In college I have a desire to excel on and off the volleyball court. No matter where I am, in the class room, on the court, or off the court, I want to continue to grow as a person and volleyball player. Volleyball is something that is more than just a game to me and I take it very seriously. I have very good knowledge of the game and study different professional volleyball players when I am not playing the game myself. I have a very strong jump float serve, and my defense is also very strong. I have played every position on the court except Libero, and have loved all of them. I am always willing to fill whatever position a coach needs me to fill. I don't ever stop thinking about the multiple different ways that I can better myself as a player, but at the same time help my team grow as a family on the court. I have been playing volleyball for 5 years and wish to continue playing for many more years to come, in college and after I graduate college. I have played sand volleyball for 2 years winning a couple of adult 2 man-sand tournaments in those years with my partner. I feel like sand has helped improve my game a tremendous amount in the short time I have been playing it. Academics is also something that I take very seriously. I always try my hardest in the classroom, and while studying. With volleyball being a major time consumer in my life along with academics I find myself always thinking about how I am going to better myself in both aspects of school. I hope I have the chance to further play volleyball in college and would like to thank you for taking a look at my profile.
