Donovan Kelley '15 Recruiting Profile

Committed to Johnson and Wales.Playing volleyball at the collegiate level has been one of my goals since my freshmen year in high school . I grew up playing mostly basketball and some baseball. It was at the end of my sophomore year when I realized I wanted to focus on volleyball as it was the sport I had the most passion and enjoyed playing. I'm a team player and I will put my body on the line for my team in any situation. Over my four years playing this sport I have strived to improve my game as a middle blocker. Since my Junior Year I have spent hundreds of hours in strength training off the volleyball court to improve every aspect of my game. My best trait is by far my personality. I'm very outgoing and love to show humor and enthusiasm in my everyday life. This translates onto the volleyball court, I'm very enthusiastic when I play whether it be learning something new or scrimmaging against my team mates.
