My greatest asset as a person, student, and athlete is a good work ethic. Going to church has helped me make life choices. Guidance from my parents has allowed me to choose what I want to do. In school, I have had to overcome a visual processing disorder. Special dark glasses and hard work have allowed me to excel. My love for sports has influenced me for my entire life. I started watching volleyball with my parents when I was three. I stuck with it because I enjoy it, it’s fun and I am good. Through volleyball, I have learned that I am the happiest when I am just myself and don’t worry about what other people think. Volleyball has taught me that being true to myself matters the most. I plan to graduate from high school with high grades and hope to have a complete senior season without a pandemic. In college, I want to play four years of competitive college volleyball. I plan to graduate with a degree in sports management or statistics. Through volleyball, I’ve learned that playing is important but not more important than being true to myself. I have also learned I am a leader on the court. I have a very dedicated work ethic to volleyball and school. I will do everything I can to help a volleyball program to succeed.
