Romy Fennessey '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Romy Fennessey.   I am  6’0”, 185 lb. from Livingston, California. 

I am a solid all-around player with quick hands as a Setter, Opposite, Outside Hitter and Middle.  

I have been a 3-sport athlete since the 6th grade, playing football, basketball & baseball.  In the 9th grade, I played volleyball for the first time and discovered a passion for the sport.  As a Freshman, I was a starting Opposite and our team was named Conference Champions.  In 10th grade, I was a starting Outside Hitter, Team Captain and awarded Most Valuable Player.  In the 11th grade, I was a starting Outside Hitter, Setter and Team Captain.  In my Junior year, the season was cut short because of the pandemic.  In my Senior year, I was a Setter, Outside Hitter, Team Captain and awarded Most Valuable Player.   

I also played basketball for my high school team.  As a Junior, I was a starting Power Forward, the Leading Rebounder, named All-Tourney, awarded Defensive Player of the Year and Coaches Award.  In my Senior year, our team was named Conference Champions.  Never missed a practice.  Never missed a game.

I am a dedicated student with a 3.28 GPA.  I have had perfect attendance for the last 5 years.  Never missed a day of school since the 8th grade.

I am a supportive and encouraging teammate and very coachable player.

I will be majoring in Business Management.

I love to compete.  I am ready to embark on this journey as a student-athlete at the collegiate level.
