I have been playing volleyball since I was eight years old. At the time, I didn't get a lot of playing time, but I still managed to find a passion for the sport. After a few years, I found myself wanting to play more, motivating by my passion to play in college. I am aware of the challenges I will face to get there. I will work hard to develop and improve my skills to achieve my goal.
I have decent setting hands and I provide a good tempo. Along with that, I am a team leader who tries to get the team through tough moments. I motivate my teammates to work harder. I keep a positive atmosphere so our spirits don't go down when we lose our momentum. I like trying new things and I am open to suggestions; in fact, I like criticism because I know it will help me get better. I always work my hardest on and off the court to contribute to my team.
At school, I work hard to keep a 4.0 GPA. I want to be a great student to help me getting an admission into selective colleges, where I continue my education and play the sport I love. Ideally, my goal is to play high-level volleyball at a college that fits me academically. Most importantly, I desire to become a great student-athlete to open my future choices and make my family proud.
