Xander Baquing '23 Recruiting Profile

Greetings! My name is Xander Sebastian Baquing! I’m a class of 2023 graduate. One of the many of the things I pride myself in is the human I have become and the person I want to be. Constantly on a pursuit of being wiser, and increasing to a broader understanding of the world. A leader on campus, and a supportive teammate I’ve learned to harness that knowledge is power. Being coachable, and open-minded throughout all my conversations I establish healthy relationships quite well. Working towards a career in which will allow me to pursue a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology or Sports Medicine while striving to develop and prosper in the sport I have grown to appreciate and love, Volleyball. This driven fire inside of me of being a Filipino immigrant, whose upbringing derived from having little to no opportunities. Immigrating in the United States, I now stand in a plethora of possibilities and opportunities in to which I plan to take full advantage of.
