Kayden Utu '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Kayden Samuelu Utu and i  am in the class of 2026. I'm currently attending Orange Lutheran High School. I started playing volleyball at the age of 3, but didn't play competitively until I was 11 years old. Things that I have learned about myself playing this sport is that it takes more than the swing of the arm, spiking of the volleyball, passing and blocking to get where you want to be, it takes confidence, a strong mentality, and humbleness to achieve what you want. Volleyball is my getaway from school, homework, and everything else. My academic goals for high school is to graduate with honors, receive a 4.0, and to leave high school with a BANG. On the other hand, my goals for college are much higher. I would like to attend a college that best fits me. I'm really outgoing and very adventurous, I play multiple sports, but mainly focus on volleyball. My parents influenced me to be who I am today, without them and the help of God by my side, I wouldn't be the volleyball player I am now.
