2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Being able to compete at a college level is one of my goals because I truly am passionate for the game. I believe that it takes a conscious effort on and off the court to keep maximizing my potential and to continue to develop into a player of both talent and integrity. I strive to be a player that can take pride in his actions, has a passion for the game, and has the persistence to never give up. Not only do I have these goals for myself on the court, but I also maintain the same expectations of myself in the classroom; pushing myself to excel in my classes through the same passion, pride, and persistence. Are you in honor classes?
Yes. In place of AP classes as an upper classman, my school offers IB classes (International Baccalaureate). I am completing my senior year taking IB courses: IB Chemistry2, IB History2, IB English2, AP Calculus. Instead of taking a dismissal, I am a teacher's assistant in a Special Education class to learn more about special education programs, as well as to give back to my community by helping. Since my freshman year, I have taken the most rigorous of classes while participating in sports, clubs, and community outreach.Are you in AP/IB classes?
