Chase Martineau '20 Recruiting Profile

I played many sports growing up and gave up playing basketball and baseball to focus 100% on volleyball.  Being part of a team and battling together as a team are what drive me to compete and improve every time I step onto the court.

I'm a 6'6" OH/OPP on Wave 18-1 (Darrell) and confident that I can contribute to the success of your program - either playing Outside or Opposite, serving tough and consistent or whatever role is needed. My determination and hard work allowed me to change from a MH to OH/OPP my 17s club season and gained confidence that I can compete with other high-level players, and I'll bring this same hard work to your team and continue to improve.

• I'm a great teammate with a positive attitude (Grinded and helped turn around our season to earn an 18 Open bid to this year's 2020 BJNC in Reno) have leadership abilities  (High School - 2 yr. Captain, Captain's Council rep., 4 yr. Varsity starter, and I recruited other athletes to come play volleyball for our brand new boys program).

My career goal is to help people by studying to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).  Outside of volleyball, I spend time with my family, beach, music and cliff jumping.  Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
