My name is David Akomah. Even though I may not have as much experience in volleyball as other recruits, my determination and discipline is what helps me be a great player. I started playing volleyball sophomore year, which was the first year our school had a men`s volleyball team. I listened to my coaches and the tips and tricks they gave me and it helped me become really good at the game. It applies in my academics as well as I tend to listen to good advice that will help me, which resulted in me getting a really good gpa of 3.91. I can also work really well with other people both on and off the court and I feel it`s important to have great teamwork. By being able to work with my team, I was able to help the team win the league championship in only our first year.
