William Nguyen '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is William Nguyen. I play volleyball for La Quinta High School. After my senior year, I will have played in varsity for 3 years. Throughout these past few years, I have gained several skills. Not just volleyball knowledge and technique, but I also attained greater confidence and leadership as well as respect for those who are greater than me. The road to varsity from junior varsity took a lot of work. Not having volleyball or training equipment at home not anyone I could practice with, I had to begin to improve myself. Watching videos on skills and fitness, even to hitting volleyballs against my room wall, I worked hard for what I wanted. In my junior year, my team made it to CIF and Regional finals for the first time in 8 years. To this day, I believe if I keep striving and working for what I want, I can make it happen.
