Joshua Summers '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Joshua Summers. I will be a Senior this fall at Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, CA. This will be my second year playing varisty volleyball. I was the starting libero last season and plan on being the starting libero this coming season. I also play on a club team, Velocity. I am in the top 3% of my class and currently maintain a 4.1 GPA. I will retake my SAT and ACT exams come fall because I know I can score higher. I took the AP exams last May for AP US History and AP English and am happy to say I passed both exams. My hope is to be able to play the sport I love, volleyball, at the college level, while also participating in a strong academic program. I am strong in the math's and sciences and hope to get into a career where I can make a positive impact on society. I am not sure at this time which direction I will go with this, but hope to make a decision by my sophomore year of college, if not sooner.
