Dear Coach:
I am writing to express my interest in exploring opportunities to further my education and athletic career at the college level. As a highly focused and determined high school varsity volleyball athlete, I am confident that I have the skills and work ethic to contribute to your team's success.
Currently, I am part of a state championship-caliber program and have gained valuable experience in competition and teamwork. Academically, I maintain a 3.2 GPA and aspire to earn a bachelor's degree in business from a reputable college or university. I am highly motivated and committed to balancing my academic pursuits with my athletic training and competition schedule.
Beyond volleyball, I am also gaining valuable experience by working part-time at a small business in my hometown. I train with a personal trainer and our team's trainer 3-5 days a week to continuously improve my skills and physical abilities. I am eager to bring my experience and dedication to your team and contribute as a team player.
I would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your program and learn more about how I can contribute to the team's success. Please let me know if you would like me to provide references or letters of recommendation. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you,
Charlie Casas
