Jinwon Song '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am Jinwon Song and I am enrolled at Delaware Military Academy to reach my goals of becoming a college athlete!

I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade and ever since playing throughout my life, I finally realized that I want to keep playing volleyball throughout my high school and college career. I work hard to become the best I can be for myself and for my team, coming in early to practice, to staying after practice is done to keep sharpening my skills.

I always make sure to stay on top of my grades, currently, my GPA is a 3.69 cumulative and I strive to keep increasing that number higher. I have been awarded Distinguished Honor Rolls, and Honor Rolls throughout my whole years of being in school, not one school year I have not been rewarded that.

I am a setter for my high school team but can play a variety of different positions, mainly libero and defensive specialist. I am a leader on the court, whether if I am a captain or not I always pick my teammates back up and defend them in any situation. I am always concentrated on what our next play would be, and the execution of the play. Whenever my teammates need adjustment, I listen to them without any hesitation.
