I am 6' - 6'1" and my primary position is setter but I am a very diverse player. My school team runs a 6-2 so hitting, passing, and diving are also all a part of my normal play. My club team (GEVA, Quandomania, Sewell NJ) runs a 5-1 with me as the primary setter so I am very comfortable and thrive in both systems. I also participated in an intense beach program in the summer and have found that it has greatly helped to improve my jumping and conditioning. It has made me a more aggressive player overall, in fact, it has changed my play so much that my club team feels as though they could utilize me as either a starting hitter or a starting setter this season.
Academics are a priority and I am looking for a school that offers a great education and experience. The high school that I attend is a college prep school with a very rigorous academic environment where I take AP, Honors and Accelerated courses and ended with a 4.07 for my Junior Year.
I am good at adapting. If it is a new coaching style, a new system, or playing a team that requires us to change our game plan and think on our feet, I can adapt. I truly feel that my high level of adaptability and the way that I adjust and think on my feet makes me a desirable player. I am very academically oriented and I hold myself to pretty high standards. I give it everything I have and strive to do well in all areas of my life.
