Hello!
I don't even know how to start this but, Let's do this!
So, I came from Puerto Rico on 2016. In 8th grade my last middle school year, i told my mom that i wanted to do the volleyball tryouts in school, she said ''sure go ahead''( But she never knew i played volleyball with my friends in Puerto Rico and they teached me a little bit of volleyball). So i did the tryouts and even the coach told me that how i could play volleyball at that age like i did. So i made the team, first game comes on, my mom always so supportive she came to it, and when she saw me playing volleyball for the first time she said that i was amazing and that how did i learn to play like that. Then comes my freshman year i did the tryouts and the coaches were always looking at me and making me do stuff so they could see how i played, they told me that i was amazing playing volleyball at my age. I made the team! They of decided to put me on varsity from the start of the season, i was the only freshman in varsity that year, i played as a libero since i was the shortest one. Playing with older guys was an amazing experience for me and feeling the adrenaline of playing with older guys. I think volleyball is a great an amazing sport. I say that everything in volleyball is mental and have your team support and have a great communication with them and never give up! Give your best every day, and time and it doesn't matter if you win or loose!
Thank you for taking your time and reading this little part of my story of how i became the athlete i am right now!..
