Aloha! My name is Alex Parks and I am a 6'7" high school senior with a 3.95 GPA (weighted 4.10). My goal is to play volleyball at the college level and obtain a degree in business with a focus on finance. I'm a hard worker both on and off the volleyball court. I'm an active member of the National Honor Society, an active member of the Boy Scouts of America (2021 candidate for rank of Eagle), and an active member of Maryknoll Schools' Ocean Surf Club (President). I'm also very entrepreneurial-focused: I started my own business during my junior year of high school and have also worked part-time in retail during high school, all the while balancing my work with my academic and athletic obligations. I am self-motivated and approach everything I do with enthusiasm and an openness to learn and grow. I'm fairly new to volleyball (having only started during my freshman year of high school) and I have size, discipline, a positive outlook and a team-first attitude to aid me in my athletic progression. I am eager to have the opportunity to play at the college level in this sport that I love.
