Born Jacob Reece Ka'eokulani (Chief of the Royal Heavens) Kamana'o-Bulosan. Raised in a catholic family I received my Catechism and Confirmation at age 12. Growing up in an athletic family, my inspirations are my father, Jumel Bulosan played baseball growing up and basketball in high school, my mother, Renee Kamana'o-Bulosan played volleyball and basketball in high school and my youngest brother Justin Raine is a multi-sport athlete. My mom's family is well known in the hula world. My uncle Kau'i Kamana'o is a well know Kumu Hula and has competed in the Merrie Monarch Festival as past and present overall winners for many years. I then began dancing hula at age 3. Competed and performed at a prestige hula competition and won 1st runner up as Master Keiki Hula. I began playing soccer and baseball at age 5, I continued playing baseball until my freshman year in high school. Started playing volleyball in middle school for Quicksets Volleyball Club as a Outside Hitter. The highlight of my career as a Junior Varsity player, I was pulled up to the Varsity team and won 2018 Division II OIA Championship and repeat 2019 Division II OIA Championship as a Sophomore. This experience has grown me into the person I am today. I would like to major in Kinesiology and minor in Business Management and looking for a program that will be a great fit for me athletically as well as academically. I have what it takes and I believe the important value of teamwork, courage and sacrifice I not only have the talent and determination to compete for a college team, but I also have the character, charisma, hardworking, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
