First I would like to say, I love volleyball, especially defense with all my heart. Nothing makes me happier than keeping the ball in play and hustling. My specialty is court vision and coverage. I watched my older sister play and though she was commited to play D2 volleyball at UNC- Pembroke, a full academic scholarship to UAB would change those plans. My goal has always been to play volleyball at a very high level. I believe in working hard in everything that I do and I strive to continually improve every aspect of my game . At times, I'm a little hard on myself but it pushes me to be better. I look forward to playing Libero in college because I know that at 5'9" ( even with a 36" vertical) playing Outside would be challenging. I am very coachable and love to learn new ways to throw off opponents. I am open to various styles of coaching and appreciate a hard approach. I'm not sure about a college major, but I am interested in software and app development. I've been on the honor roll throughout high school and enjoy a challenging curriculum that includes some honors and AP clases. This preparation will prepare me for balancing athletics and academics. Ultimately, my dream is to play Libero for the USA Mens' National Team.
