I have a distinct goal in mind for college is to play at a Division I, Division II, or Division III program that reflects my academic and athletic abilities. My inner drive to achieve these goals is something that will set me apart from other recruits. Part of this means valuing being a coachable player who is always looking for critique to elevate my game to the next level. During my time under the sport I have learned to become a strong team leader that brings a lot of energy and passion on the court. High pressure situations is where I shine. I always am anticipating getting the opportunity to play an opposing team that forces you to better your game to compete with them. This experience is something that fuels me and my love for the sport. Academically, like volleyball, I will put my best foot forward in the classroom to reach the best version of me as a student. It's important to me though to be finding something I am passionate about and not just the result of the grade in the class. Balancing these two areas of my life is important to me as well because neither's success defines who I am as a person, but rather the lessons and life skills I have learned from both that will continue to mold my path as a student-athlete hopefully at the next level.
