Volleyball is something I have loved my whole life but living on Cape Cod has made it very hard because of lack of men’s teams. I started playing Beach around 9 years old and was looking for more competition ever since then. When I came into high school I had a big choice, I could keep volleyball on the side and play football which I had played for years, or I could quit football and join our schools girls volleyball team because of Title IX. I got along well with the team and In my first year playing we got our best record in the past 10 years and that was a big goal I had. This year we beat that record and I believe that my last year will be the year our team gets into the tournament and preforms well.
