Hello Coaches, my name is Jacob Dunavan and I and a senior in the class of 2023 at Holt high school. My goal is to play volleyball at the highest level possible with an amazing team the pushes each other to get better and better as time goes on. I believe I would be a great candidate for any team because I have a very outgoing high energy personality. I do my best to boost the mood whenever possible and keep my teammates energy up. Although I only started playing Volleyball in late July of 2021, I have made significant progress and have become a player who people want on there team. With more practice and the help from my amazing coaches I'm positive my athletic abilities will become much better then they currently are. Through my high school career I have gone through many challenges in my personal life. Most notably would be my struggle with mental health and the death of my father. These struggles made things like keeping up my grades and staying motivated a little more difficult however I have become much stronger because of them. They have prepared me to face any challenge and come out on top. I want to bring this philosophy with the team on to the court.
