I joined Vegas United Volleyball Club in Las Vegas, NV 3 years ago and have played competitively ever since. My first year of volleyball we placed in the top 10 for 14U Open @ Boys Jr. Nationals, this is where my drive started. I've always enjoyed playing the game of volleyball. Throughout my volleyball journey I've learned the value of work ethic, teamwork, commitment, and the sacrifice of time and family. In my high school career I have always maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and received an academic letter. For my senior year of high school, I will be working extra hard in and out of class to maintain my 4.0 GPA that I currently have. My academic goal for college would be to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.
The biggest obstacle I've had to overcome is not being able to play my junior year of school and not being able to play Nationals for my club team due to COVID-19. It put a lot of stress on me so I took a different approach and became mentally and physically stronger. It gave me an opportunity to study and understand the game by watching videos while stuck at home. When it comes to the court, I am very agile and I have had the opportunity to play every position within the club and highschool. I am very verbal on the court and will contribute to my team at all times. I've been captain on both teams due to my hard work ethics, knowledge of the game, which I feel will make me a great fit for your team.
In my future college career I am open to go anywhere in the U.S. and willing to go to any divison. My goal for academics would be to get a degree in business or kinesiology.
