From a young age, challenges have fueled my determination to succeed. One of my greatest influences has been my mother, whose high expectations always pushed me to strive for more and become a better person and athlete. My passion for volleyball started in seventh grade when I joined a team with my older cousins, and the thought of playing high school volleyball alongside them inspired me to fully commit to the sport. Throughout middle school, I faced criticism from peers who doubted my abilities. Some others would tell me that I was not good enough despite my height. I remained committed to improve and become better. My mom would support me with challenges for each tryout and game, which fueled my motivation to continue becoming better. After my first high school tryout, I earned a starting position on the varsity team. In my first season, I was ranked among the top three freshmen in our conference and received a nomination for Best Freshman in New Jersey from NJ.com.My experiences have not only strengthened my personal resolve but also taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership. In addition to athletics, I hope to continue to have strong academic success. My academic goals for high school include maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher and achieving a score above 1350 on the SAT. In college, I aim to earn my bachelor's degree and pursue a fulfilling career while continuing to hone my athletic skills.thank I have learned that with determination and hard work, I can overcome any obstacle and continue becoming a better student and athlete. I am eager to bring my passion, resilience, and commitment to excellence to the collegiate level, contributing not just as an athlete, but as a dedicated teammate.
