If I would have to describe myself, I guess I would definitely have to say that I am an outstanding leader. Not just on the court but as well as off the court. I have been taught at home that to live a moral life is to live without second guessing my decisions. What I mean is, if I go through life with regrets because I made a wrong moral choices then I am not living by the the great values that my parents set for me. As far as my character on the court, as a vocal leader I help motivate and inspire my teammates to do great, even when things are not going as plan. My history teacher was a Marine and he said leaders are born but they can be made. He said I was born to lead. I am the first to arrive at practice and the last person to leave. I believe leading by example is necessary and it sets the tone in the locker room. I also work hard at improving my game. I feel like I need to improve everyday in order to be successful. Although I feel like I excel in volleyball, what I take pride in is my academics. I currently, have a GPA of 3.7 and my goal is to be a 4.0. I take my academics very seriously. The way I am on the court is the same way like I am in the classroom. I take the same work ethics and I apply in in my work. You see, I don't have much and my parents have sacrificed to make sure I live a better life then what they have lived, and it is up to me to not let them down.
