I started playing volleyball last year and when i started playing i wanted to be libero because i was short but my coach told me no because my defense was not good enough so since that day i been working on my defense and she put me as opposite, the first official game she put me in the bench because she thought i wasn't ready but after that game i started working really hard on my jumping and defense and i ended up being in the starting team i had a 8 inches vertical jump and i was 5'4 now i am 5'8 and my vertical jump is 24 inches i got that in a year it is really amazing. After the season my couch told me to go tryout for a club which i did and i got accepted to play in NYC Impact volleyball but i had to but i had to turn down the chance because it was too expensive and my dad couldn't pay it, but i didn't care and now i'm happy because the season is already back and i'm able to play volleyball again and now i'm in the starting team and i play outside now. I like to support my friends and my teammates and my biggest goal for this season is to win the trophy of PSAL and be the best player. My biggest dream now is to finish high school and go play in college and become a professional volleyball player, hopefully i can make it and i promised myself i will do it. Thank you for reading this letter and hopefully i make it. :)
