Personal Statement
I enjoy playing all sports and have participated in the following: Volleyball, Baseball, Swimming, Level 1 Boxing, Jiu Jitsu (Purple Belt), Crew, Basketball, and Flag Football. I have been on teams over multiple years and have participated on schools teams, as well as, with the PAL in our neighborhood. I have a love of the water and water sports including boating and sailing.
Volleyball has become my favorite sport because I enjoy the pacing of the game, the strategies, and the team communication and coordination. This past year, some very good friends and I decided to join the HS JV team. Our HS did not have enough players to have a separate JV and varsity team and the 2 seniors that were interested in the sport were asked to play down with us. Our team benefited from their mentorship and guidance and provided me with a deeper love of the sport. I am encouraged to play for the next 3 of HS and feel this is a niche that I really enjoy.
