Katherine Jennette '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Katherine Jennette. I have played volleyball since the 5th grade starting with a small CYO team where everyone on the team was a beginner.  Little did I know this small team would lead me to find my passion for volleyball at a young age. But with that group of 10 girls we formed a amazing bond together that allowed us to preform well and end up in the CYO playoffs many years and win the championship together. From the start of that team till now I can accredit my friendships, motivation and athleticness to volleyball.  The relationships I have made allowed doors to be open for me including volunteering with younger girls through the same CYO organization that I had started with.  Also volleyball has introduced me to people who compelled me to take up other sports like fencing and lacrosse to increase my athleticness and ability to work with any kind of coach.  I would love to keep volleyball a part of my life while perusing higher education and offer my athletic and teamwork skills to a team.
