Owen Pickett '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm a Senior in high school with a GPA of 3.8.  I'm 6'3", 176 pounds and play outside hitter, but I also have experience at setter and libero.  I was a year round competitive swimmer for over ten years and was introduced to volleyball my sophomore year when my high school started a mens team.  I played on Phoenix Boys Volleyball Club Team 21-22 and attended Boys Nationals in Las Vegas, 7.2022.  I am currently a member of the 22-23 National Team.  At the beginning of my Junior Year I chose to change High Schools and now attend Walsh Jesuit High School.  Since 8.2022, I have been working out with collegiate volleyball player who designs volleyball specific training programs and am seeing success in the gym and with my vertical jump.  I am tenacious and no one is more focused on studying the sport of volleyball than me.  My goal is to study Sports Medicine and play Volleyball at the highest level possible.
