Luke Pogue '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal throughout my volleyball career is to always look for ways to better not only my skills, but help my teammates better theirs and develop as well.  After all, it is better to play to be great than playing just to win.  I have been playing volleyball since the 6th grade.  At 15 yrs old I joined a local Men's Sand League to improve my speed and play up to men taller and better than me.  I rise to the challenge and enjoy competition very much.  I am an avid helper in my school, community, and family environment.  In school I am an active National Honors Society member,  I mentor a 5th grade student and I strive to maintain a 4.0 gpa.  With that being said I am a hardworking individual that enjoys being part of a team and encouraging my teammates along the way.
