2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I began swimming at the age of nine when my parents enrolled me in swim lessons. I was initially terrified of water, but gradually my passion for swimming developed. Being a part of a team and competing together are the factors that keep me motivated. I approach every practice as a new opportunity to improve my technique and contribute to my team. I’ve learned this year that technique is everything. I love to be pushed and thrive on constructive criticism. I love swimming and would be thrilled to continue my journey throughout my collegiate years. I see my college years as an opportunity to grow personally and athletically. My goal is to be a pre-med major and ultimately a physician.
