My name is Grant Hoover, and I am graduating in the year 2023 from Seneca Valley High School in PA. I am a 6'1" middle hitter that is moving to the outside position next year. I've played club volleyball since I was 14. Being an undersized middle was a great experience for me not only because it forced me to increase my vertical, but also improved my shot selections when hitting against larger middles. I am always loud when playing, not only with communication but trying to lead my teammates through the use of having energy on the court. I play sand volleyball regularly as well as sand and grass volleyball tournaments. Academically, I have a 3.6 unweighted GPA after my Junior year. I take several AP classes and participate on the mock trial team as well. I am very intrigued by microbiology and aspire to study that field of something similar in college. I love being challenged and am extremely interested in the research side of biology as a whole. Outside of school and sports I hold a part time job and participate in my church's youth group which both aid in my time management.
