Hello Coaches, my name is Ian Newell. I am currently a junior at Philip Simmons High School where my primary position is opposite hitter (6-rotation player). I also set for my team this past school season. In addition, I play club for SC Elite as an opposite hitter, I have played school volleyball for 4 years and club for 3 years, I am a starter for both teams and a captain on my school team. I started playing organized volleyball at 11 years old, but I've been around it my entire life since my parents both play. I push myself athletically and academically. In addition to indoor, I play beach and grass as much as I can to continue to develop my skills. I work hard and want to earn an opportunity to play at the next level. For my major, I am considering engineering, specifically aerospace or architecture. Thank you for your time and consideration.
