Volleyball was introduced at my high school 2 years ago, and I fell in love with it. I am a middle hitter for my club and high school volleyball team. This past season, I was named to the 2nd team all-state. I am noticeable on the court because I am 6'5" with long, blonde hair. I also have 10'7" approach jump. In order to stay in shape, I play basketball, tennis, and water sports.
I am a team player who recognizes that in order to succeed, everyone has to work together. I always have a positive attitude and support those around me both on and off the court. In order to stay involved and give back to the community, I volunteer as a junior volleyball coach at a local middle school. In addition, I'm a Senior Patrol Leader in my scout troop and have achieved the rank of Eagle. This experience taught me the value of hard work and dedication. It has also helped me grow as a leader.
I'm just as passionate about academics as I am about volleyball. I'm a member of the National Honor Society and currently have a 4.0 GPA. I am challenging myself with several AP courses and have been awarded with high honors and academic gold pins. I'm very interested in math and plan to major in data science, statistics, or applied mathematics.
*I don't currently have video due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but plan to upload some as soon as restrictions are lifted.
