Blaine Richardson '24 Recruiting Profile

I have committed to Randolph College. Volleyball is a growing sport in the Northern Virginia area where high school is organized through Northern Virginia High School Boys Volleyball League. I have been playing volleyball since 5th grade where I was picked for all-star and select teams. I have been a starter for 3 years on both the Varsity/A-level in NVHSBVL and club with Battle Volleyball Club.  I enjoy playing outside and right side. However, this past season the team needed a middle player. Although this was not what I preferred, I supported the team's needs and the coach. I enjoy playing volleyball and want to continue playing at the college level. I work hard at practice, review game videos, and condition to improve my game. I have also participated in grass programs over the past two summers. Volleyball has helped me focus on my strengths and given me confidence. I am motivated to find an opportunity to continue to play in college, work as a team member, and further develop myself as a player.
