Hello, my name is Michael Schneider. I am a 6'2 Opposite that goes to Atlee High School in Richmond, Virginia and was named captain of our Varsity team this year. I am newer to volleyball, but not to being an athlete. It has become my favorite. I have a lot of goals and aspirations, but my main goals are to be a successful student and make an impact in the world and inspire others. I aspire to be the best teammate that I can be and become an even better volleyball player along with my teammates. I am a really hard worker and once I have put my mind to something, it gets done. Whenever, I need to make an adjustment, I make it and I learn to be better. My court awareness and ability to read the opponent gives me an edge. I am hoping to make an impact not just on myself and family but the people around me and the friends I have made and will make in the future. I think that the main traits that separate myself from other recruits is that I am coachable, and I have a winning attitude and mindset. I am big on building momentum and lifting my team up. These traits separate me from other recruits, and it is a big factor on my success every day.
