I am a 5'5" 135 lb Guard/Forward from Mechanicsville, VA. I was on varsity as a freshman and worked to become a starting forward my sophomore year. Because I was young, I was not a picked captain on my school team, but I have been a captain on previous teams and I know I can be a strong team leader. Ever since I was in elementary school I've always wanted to make myself better, whether it be going to camps or just running laps outside in my cul-de-sac. It's just always been my dream to play a sport in college and pursue that sport to the best of my ability. My hard work doesn't stop when I leave the gym, because I also continue to work hard in the classroom and at home. This being said, so far I have earned a 4.2 GPA in my first two years of high school. Personally, I am looking for a school not too far from home but somewhere that will feel like a home away from home. I am pretty open to different types of schools, but some qualities that I would consider as positives are diversity, christian, strong academics and larger than my current high school (1600 enrolled). I am not certain what i want to major in but I would love to continue my education in Spanish. My goal is to get better as a player. I want to be able to push myself to become the best and be in an environment that would encourage this.
